Revox takes over Horch House and founds Revox Analogue Division

With its Horch House brand, the German company Analog Arts e.K. is an important supplier of analogue master tapes and a reliable supplier for all those HiFi enthusiasts who see reel-to-reel tape machines as a solution for enjoying music in the best quality. The company prides itself on being able to rely on a workforce of analogue audio enthusiasts, and the production of master tape copies is pursued with a correspondingly high level of passion. The Horch House brand under the management of Volker Lange thus stands for uncompromising quality.

Revov Deutschland GmbH has now announced that it is taking over the company Analog Arts e. K., making the Horch House brand part of the newly created Revox Analog Division.

Newly established Revox Analogue Division

Revox Deutschland GmbH recently surprised everyone by reviving the Revox B77 tape recorder in the form of the newly developed Revox B77 MK III.

As if that wasn’t enough, the company is planning the gradual introduction of further new products in the analogue sector and is therefore establishing the new Revox Analogue Division.

As already described, the Horch House brand is to be part of this new Revox Analogue Division in future.

The countless existing Horch House licences with record labels enable us to continuously expand our range of analogue sound carriers, such as master tapes. Getting to the point that we have already started to produce today’s Revox master tapes at our Villingen plant and will gradually transfer the entire production of Horch House to our plant.

I am particularly pleased to have Volker Lange, a proven expert in the field of analogue music and analogue products, on board with us. With his expertise, Volker Lange has already played a major role in defining the many new features of the B 77 MK III. We will continue to pursue our strategy of offering not only products, but also the necessary music carriers.

Essentially, nothing will change for the Horch House brand, the workforce will be taken over seamlessly and, as can be seen from the statement by the CEO of the Revox Group, Volker Lange will also remain with the company and will even be responsible for the entire new Revox Analogue Division.

Getting to the point

For the Revox brand, it is of course of great importance to be able to use the excellent reputation that has been built up through the legendary solutions of the analogue era for Revox Deutschland GmbH in the future. It is therefore a very smart move to set up a corresponding division with the new Revox Analogue Division, whereby the takeover of Horch House means that an established brand is now available and, with its Managing Director Volker Lange, the right man is probably also on board to manage it.
