Elements directly from McLaren Racing’s Formula 1 and Klipsch’s sound expertise are said to be combined in the new Klipsch Groove McLaren Edition, the latest product in the long-standing partnership between McLaren Racing and Klipsch. Loudspeaker tradition meets stylish racing design of the McLaren Formula 1 team, so the promise of the two manufacturers.
Motorsport and loudspeaker tradition
The partnership between Klipsch and McLaren Racing has been going on for some time now, and the two companies have already presented many a product in the course of this cooperation. Klipsch is the official partner of the McLaren Formula 1 team for headphones and mobile audio devices, which can be seen quite prominently at every race weekend in the course of the television broadcasts.
Klipsch Groove McLaren Edition – Portable Bluetooth Speaker
The latest addition to the collaboration between Klipsch and McLaren Racing is the Klipsch Groove McLaren Edition, a portable Bluetooth speaker with a special design and, as the companies state, big sound from a small format.
The new Klipsch Groove McLaren Edition measures no more than 14 cm in width, 11.5 cm in height, and 6.5 cm in depth and features a stylish McLaren Racing racing design, according to the manufacturer.
The bold logo and the lacquered housing are in the original papaya orange, and a perforated metal grille protects the transducer behind it. A non-slip rubber frame with integrated buttons ensures a secure grip and trouble-free operation in any situation.
In order to be able to use the new Klipsch Groove McLaren Edition anywhere and at any time, it is dust-protected and waterproof according to IP56; even a brief immersion in water will not harm it.
Inside, a 7.6 cm full-range driver does its job, supported by two side-mounted oval passive radiators for detailed, dynamic sound.
The signal transmission from the source device is of course primarily via Bluetooth 5.0, although an analogue input in the form of a 3.5 mm stereo mini jack is also offered.
The integrated rechargeable battery should allow a playing time of up to eight hours. It is supposed to be recharged particularly quickly via an included power supply unit, twice as fast as the standard Klipsch Groove model, as the manufacturer points out.
Prices and availability
The new Klipsch Groove McLaren Edition is available immediately from specialist dealers at a recommended retail price of € 199,-. Incidentally, it comes with a matching cover, which is said to be inspired by the heat blankets used for the tyres at McLaren Racing.

Klipsch has been cooperating with McLaren Racing in a marketing partnership for years. The latest offspring of this collaboration is the Klipsch Groove McLaren Edition, a special version of Klipsch’s portable, compact Bluetooth speaker.
